St. Francis Xavier University


Francis Xavier University a primarily undergraduate university in Nova Scotia, Canada. Founded in 1853 by the Roman Catholic church, St. FX today is considered one of Canada's top schools. Maclean's magazine has consistently ranked St FX as the top small undergraduate universities (2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006).

St Francis Xavier University is divided into the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Science, Gerald Schwartz School of Business and Information Systems, School of Education, and the Coady International Institute. St. FX offers students programs in Aquatic Resources, Art, Jazz, Celtic Studies, Catholic Studies and Education.



Housing: St. FX offers students with on-campus residence that highlight a the school's sense of family. In addition, the residence councils have developed programs, events and workshops to complement the students academic, social and spiritual development.

Scholarships: At StFX, freshman students that possess high school averages greater than 85% are guaranteed financial support.
